Mentor Tutors?

After countless interviews with teachers, students and school administrators we noted that often a student can feel trapped in his or her surroundings. Often students feel they can?t attend college and that they will never succeed outside of their hometown. At Planettutor we have developed a program specifically to combat this problem. The Planettutor Mentor/Tutor program brings together local high school students with successful college students from the same neighborhoods and similar situations. This program was designed to show students they can succeed and change their situation, by showing them shining examples of students whom have succeeded.

We also pair up the students with college counselors who can work with the students to help them understand the next steps to take after high school.

We have Tutor/Mentors that are Bilingual and who attended the same regional schools as your students. They now attend prestigious universities and maintain high GPA?s. These students are pursuing degrees in such challenging fields as engineering, business, law, medicine and technology.
