eXponential Teachers?
eXponential Teachers addresses the unique dilemmas caused by NCLB and AYP. Our solution is simple: provide inexpensive, content area experts to support those teaching remedial or other challenging populations. We can exponentially increase the number of teachers in every classroom by supplying live, online content area experts. We are able to match each individual student to a content area expert who is specifically focused on the needs of that one child. In this way, we can provide a level of differentiated instruction necessary to the success of these students that would otherwise be impossible to achieve in a traditional classroom.
The program has three main focus areas:
1. Remedial Students: Helping students who are falling behind or can?t keep up. Every school has a group of students who do not perform as well in a traditional classroom. These students are easily distracted and don?t excel academically for a variety of reasons, and they are typically the hardest for a teacher to reach. These students are in need of additional help that the teacher cannot provide because of time and space constraints.
2. Advanced Students: Helping students who want to learn advanced topics, and take AP or IB classes. There are those students who exceed expectations and have an appetite for knowledge and desire to succeed. These students should also be nurtured and groomed achieve the academic success they demand. Our tutors will help provide the additional help the students require to succeed in advanced science and math courses, or just preparing for their SAT and ACT tests, or getting college credits while still in high school.
3. Mentorship: Providing a student/mentor program to help students to work with former students from the communities they grew up in, who have succeeded in education. We would like to show students how hard work and focus can pay off and help to get them a good college education and career. Our program marries up successful college students with a strong math or science background who are attending Tier 1 US universities with struggling students from their home school district.

Along with improving student?s State Standardized Test scores, we are also focused on improving a student?s overall attitude toward school. The program encourages and shows students how they can be successful in academics and the importance of education.
